Trip to Tunisia

Anthony P Postiglione Jr

Tunisia is a country steeped in history. Located in North Africa between Algeria and Libya, the first traces of men here go back half a million years BC. So many nationalities have set foot in this country. The Phoencians, Turks, Spanish, and French are just some of the settlers who made their home in Tunisia. It is even said to be the land where two mythical adventures were supposed to have taken place both Jason and the Argonauts, and The Odyssey. The Berbers were an ethnic group native to North Africa who had a large impact on rural Tunisia and lived in scattered communities around the country.
