Trip to Ireland

trip-to Ireland

Anthony P Postiglione Jr states that when you think of Ireland, you probably think of rain, green rolling hills, and pubs on every street.

Along with Guinness and pubs playing traditional Irish music, you can find beautiful parks, castles, high end shopping, impressive lakes and valleys, cliffs that drop down into the sea and roads that wind up the coast.

Anthony P Postiglione Jr says the best way to explore the country is to rent a car and hit the road to stops like Dublin, the Cliffs of Moher, the Ring of Kerry, Cork and Galway.

The weather of Ireland is very mild and temperate, making it a destination that can be enjoyed if you do not mind the rain.

Winters in Ireland are characterized by daily drizzles and short daylight hours. Though, it never gets too cold.

Summer is peak season and tourists from all over the world flock to soak up the little sunshine that Ireland receives.

Petty crime is common, particularly in city centers like Dublin. Risks include bag snatching and pickpocketing. Thieves target areas popular with tourists. Use secure parking lots when possible and keep your luggage and valuables out of sight.

While there have been no recent terrorist attacks in Ireland, they can still happen. In recent years, terrorists have attacked some European cities. Targets have included:

  • Public transport
  • Transports hubs
  • Places popular with tourists
