Trip to Venezuela

Anthony P. Postiglione Jr

Anthony P Postiglione Jr wants to say that, rich with culture, history, and pleasant locals, Venezuela is a hazard to look at something different.

Located at the northern coast of South America, it’s far full of many white-sand beaches, blue waters, and herbal wonders, making it a superb getaway.

Fans of the outdoors will love Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world, or Pico Bolívar, the highest mountain in Venezuela.

Anthony P Postiglione Jr says that the places you visit are:

  • Canaima National Park
  • Parque El Agua
  • Morrocoy National Park
  • National Pantheon of Venezuela
  • Teleférico de Caracas

Anthony P Postiglione Jr says that Venezuela with its tropical climate has two seasons, wet and dry.

The wet season is between May and October and it is the best time to see Angel Falls due to the increase in rainfall.

March through May are the warmest months in Caracas. For people who want to do outdoor activities like hiking, November is a good month to visit and it is the start of the dry season.

October is the best time if you want to visit Los Llanos to see the wildlife.

Anthony P Postiglione Jr wants to warn regarding somethings while touring Venezuela  like:

  • Kidnapping is a serious threat. The risk is higher along airport routes and the border regions. Use official taxis organized through your hotel.
  • Common violent crime includes murder, armed robbery, drive-by shootings, sexual assault and carjackings. Criminals are often armed. Avoid walking in isolated areas, especially at night. Terrorist groups and criminal gangs are active along Venezuela’s borders with Colombia, Brazil and Guyana.
  • Severe weather, earthquakes, hurricanes, tropical storms, flooding and landslides can occur. The rainy season is from May to December. Monitor the local media for updates.
